Bonsai can be a challenge to grow and maintain, especially if you are a beginner and know nothing about them. However, it is a particular favorite bonsai well suited for neophytes that is the Jade Bonsai. Also known as Jade leaves little or Elephant Plant, this succulent plant is native to South Africa.

Bonsai Jade Tree develops more rapidly than other types of bonsai. It has a very broad and can log up to 3 to 4 meters in nature. Because it is succulent, which has a large ability to retain water in its thick leaves, branches and trunk, which means you do not need watering often compared with other types.

The beautiful tree is easy to maintain and looks great. While the plant is young, its bark is green, but eventually turns reddish brown to slate gray as it matures. She has succulent leaves with a blue-green color and produces clusters of star shaped flowers purple-pink in autumn. Its thick trunk, thin, and the branches still require attention appropriately adapted. Being a tropical plant, can not tolerate very cold climates. Problem with the roots of a Chinese elm tree?

We have 40 years or so Chinese elm that has raised the sidewalk is 3 feet away. Now, you must repair the sidewalk. Then cut the root cause (s) and put in a root barrier? The roots that are growing because their size is complete? Or I have to remove the entire tree, I mean, not too easy with these types of trees and is quite expensive.
